Get better sleep
Now you may not be getting enough sleep through the heat, your baby/child or worry but we all know that getting a minimum of 7 hours/night is about right for most adults. Sleep is the time to heal and refresh and reboot. If you feel that your sleep isn’t doing that for you have you looked at why that might be?
Well, there is increasing evidence that mobiles and laptops in the sleeping space is disrupting for our sleep patterns. Have a read of this.
I have found that teens find it particularly hard to switch off at night and will sleep with their mobile under their pillow. The smartphone ‘addiction’ is one which can also see us staying up later than we should – checking in on social media – and then picking our phones up the moment our eyes open.
Get the mobiles and laptops out of your bedroom. See what difference it makes.
